Swimming in the Yard!

Just some snapshots of the kids swimming in their froggy pool in the yard! It's almost to hot to even enjoy it b/c the water warms up so quick.

Bowl-a-thon for Spina Bifida Fundraiser

We had a blast bowling for a Spina Bifida fundraiser on June 6, 2009! Here are some pictures from the Orthopaedic Dept Team from Children's Hospital!

Happy 30th Anniversary to my parents! We went out for dinner to celebrate 30 years of marriage, 2 daughters, and 2 grandkids!
My sweet little man is getting BIG too soon. He was 10 months on June 1, 2009...he was mad that he couldn't escape the paparazzi!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darby being silly!!

Some snapshots of Darby I took while at a wedding tea. Can you believe that she wanted to wear sunglasses?? She even had a purse, you just can see it in the picture!! She's going to be a "girl" after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekly update

Let me first start by saying..."Thank goodness it's Friday!" It feels like it's been along week. I am looking forward to tomorrow's bowling tournament to raise money for Spina Bifida kids. We have 2 teams from our dept at the hospital, so it should be a lot of fun.

Update on Matt: he is doing some odds and end jobs which helps a little, he got a certified letter stating the he must return ALL of his RR gear by 6-10-09 and that "hopefully" work would pick up again in 4 months. To us 4 months is a really long time, and we hope that it's only 4 months. We'll just keep praying on this one.

Bodie: is into everything, EVERYTHING! He has waited almost 10 months to get up and get moving, but now he's doing it all at once. He's crawling like a marathon crawler! Sitting his self up like a pro. Now, he's pulling up. We found him in the bathroom floor pulling up on the side of the tub trying to watch Darby playing in the bath tub. I got a cute picture that I will post if I ever get a moment to sit at the computer that long. He can say "mama" and "dada."

Darby: is a mess! She is talking like a grown up and comprehending things that I never imagined she could. She has definitely gained a vivid imagination. She now plays with her trains and makes them talk just as they do on Thomas the Train. It's so cute. The other night we caught her saying "stop shunting me Thomas you are supose to pull Annie and Clarabelle." Her thing to say right now is "bust my buffers" if something makes her mad.

When we are in the store shopping and I'm looking at something that she doesn't want to look at she'll tell me "puff along Mom, puff along."

I am working like a crazy woman everyday, wish I could go part time but it's not in our future right now. Decided to do something for myself so I bought some new make-up and cut my hair off shorter than it's ever been in my life, but I am LOVING it! Forgot I set up a Facebook account some many years ago, but was talked into updating it and making it active. Now of course I am addicted to another networking site!

More to come....have a great weekend.
