I tried to just email you back, but didn't see yours listed. I have a speedlite flash that I use when I need one, but I never use my on-board flash (& only occasionally use the speedlite.) Natural light is obviously the best option. I shoot in manual & save the files on the camera as RAW files rather than jpeg (this gives you more options to work with in photoshop.) I have the kit, 50mm, & a 75-300zoom lens that I have used twice, you basically have to have it on a tripod to get any good shots since it's so heavy. Ask all the questions you'd like!
