Some pictures that I took with my new "toy." I am loving this new lens for my camera. I am also pumped about the great deal I got when I bought it last week.

I recently purchased a new lens for my camera, it's a 50mm 1.8 Canon lens and I am really loving it. Like my friend Many said "it hasn't been off my camera since I got it! I am enjoying learning the art of photography. Even though I am not really that good I do love practicing on my two precious angels.
We've had an eventful weak in the pet dept at the Reid house, too. We thought that our fish "Cooper" had gone to a better place. Just when we talked Darby into letting him swim in the "big water" he came back to life. out of nowhere he started swimming again. I tell you this is one strong fish. He has been dancing with death his entire life! He gets shocked every time we change his water. Our fish has 9 lives I guess!

My 50mm 1.4 very rarely leaves my camera. Only when I need the zoom for sports do I take it off. You will LOVE it! Where did you end up getting it?

What a lil' Irishman! And Darb's hair looks a little reddish in those pics too!
